About me
Emily Brillon (she/her/they) is a transracial and transnational adoptee born in Manila and raised in Massachusetts. Half-Chinese and half-Filipina, she has had a long relationship exploring sustainable food systems and methods. Most recently, she has earned a Community Composting Certificate through New York Botanical Gardens and volunteers with Queens Botanical Gardens. Her even longer relationship with adoption, grief, and trauma has been explored through community work with Also-Known-As Inc. and various somatic practices including the Alexander Technique and cooking with friends at home.
