Madelaine Reis, a transracial Puerto Rican adoptee, is the Assistant Director of the BIPOC Disability Collective, where she drives education, leadership development, and skill-building for activists of color. She partnered with BIPOC Adoptees to ensure accessibility at their national conference, exemplifying her commitment to intersectional advocacy. With a background in public policy and accessibility, including work at American University’s Institute for Disability and Public Policy, Madelaine has advanced global governance initiatives and led efforts supporting disabled people of color. Her work bridges communities, championing inclusion and equity for marginalized groups through collaboration and action.
